Sesame: Diluted Calico, Sweet Soul

Sesame, a ~1-3 year old diluted calico, was found in March 2025. Her soft colors match her softer personality perfectly.

First Encounter

We found Sesame in March 2025. We didn't actually find her underweight - at first we thought she might be pregnant, but it turned out she had an infection. Getting her spayed ended up saving her life. Unlike many rescues, she was incredibly trusting and seemed to understand that we were trying to help her.

What Makes Sesame Special

Her signature trait: Extreme cuteness. It's not just looks - it's the way she:

• Slow blinks to show affection
• Purrs the moment you touch her
• Seeks comfort in your lap
• Responds with chirps instead of meows

The Sweet One

In a rescue operation, Sesame was the one who reminded us why we do this work. Her sweetness was infectious, and we'll keep on regretting not adopting her ourselves!

By April 2025, Sesame had found her perfect match - a family that appreciated her gentle nature and provided the safe, loving home she deserved.

Last we heard, she was thriving as the sweetest family pet ever.
